Hi Moms and Dads,


Last week was wonderful!  The children have worked so hard.  They are learning to work in whole group, small groups and independently.  I am very proud of their progress.


We will continue with academic centers.  This gives the children options on academic activities when they finish their assigned work.  We continue to work on listening and following directions and listening while others are talking.  Thank you for all you do at home to reinforce what we are doing at school.

*Comprehension Skills - categorize and classify
                                         concepts of print


Math:
*Symmetry - comparing solid figures
                      flat surfaces of solid figures
*Making shapes from other shapes
*Same size, same shape


Handwriting Skills:
*Letter formation
*Sentence building


Bible:
*Israel in the Desert   Scripture:  Exodus 15:23 - 16:36
*Target Truth - When we obey rules, we are also obeying God

*Veterans Day Holiday - Friday, November 11th

*Thanksgiving Holidays - November 21st - 25th
*Kindergarten Christmas Play - December 7, 8 & 9 (parents day)
