Hi Moms and Dads

I hope everyone had a Happy Mother's Day.  Our mothers are such a blessing in our lives.

As you know the rest of the school year we will have a different way of entering the school due to the construction.

Just a reminder....
As of Saturday morning, the LS entrance and Kindergarten main entrance will be under construction (and off limits) for the final 5 full days and 2 half days of this school year.  Kindergarten students may enter in the morning through Mrs. Allen's outside  kindergarten door.  Mrs. Handey's third graders may continue to be dropped off in the LS area then walk to the cottage.  Students in grades 1,3, and 5 may enter the outside doors to their rooms which will be opened each morning for the next 7 days of school.  Students in grades 2 and 4 will need to enter through one of the two upper school entrances.  Parents that need to enter the school during the next 7 days will need to enter through the main upper school entrance under the portico.  We apologize for this short term inconvenience!

There are so many mixed feelings running through my heart.  This past week was filled with heartache for so many.  It is personal in our family as my son-in-law lost 2 members of his family in Wetumpka.  Please keep all of those hurting in your prayers and if you have an opportunity to help please do so

I am thrilled that our children are ready for first grade.  I am also sad to let them go.  That is part of the process of living and growing.  However, they will always be my children.  They will always be in my heart.

You continue to be such a blessing to me.
